Abstract
El presente documento, tiene como propósito conocer los factores socioeconómicos que influyen en la trayectoria universitaria de estudiantes de Administración de Empresas y afines en Colombia, tomando como base tres categorías conceptuales: la motivación, el rendimiento y la deserción. Utilizando como metodología la revisión de literatura o scoping review, en la que se incluyeron referentes e investigaciones de distintos países de habla hispana y de Estados Unidos. Se encontró que principalmente los factores socioeconómicos que más influyen en esta trayectoria son: Escolaridad de los padres, ingresos familiares, estrato y situación laboral de los estudiantes.
ABSTRACT: The purpose of this document is to learn about the socioeconomic factors that influence the college career of Management and related studies students in Colombia, with a focus on three conceptual categories: motivation, performance, and desertion. The methodology used was a scoping review, which included references and research from different Spanish-speaking countries and the USA. It was found that the main socioeconomic factors that influence the college career are Parents' schooling, family income, stratum, and employment status.
